The Mirror Hall (Vast)
The Hall is the entire realm — mostly. It extends in all directions. The Half-Selves wander it.
ECHO is one of the twelve realms of the Scalelist Universe.
{'threat': "Echo is admitted to Trinity. If Bali, Kali, and Fused ever relent, Echo joins the Trinity — and Trinity ends. See Trinity's fate for consequence. Echo itself becomes obsolete as a realm; its inhabitants would be absorbed.", 'consequence': "Echo realm ceases to be a separate realm. The Mirror Hall collapses to glass powder. The Half-Selves become full selves, returning to their original realms. The Reflection Sea evaporates. A new Tetrad realm replaces Trinity. Echo's purpose would be fulfilled — and Echo itself would be gone.", 'prophecy_line': 'If you get what you wait for, you are no longer who waits. Echo knows. Echo waits anyway.', 'destroyable_by': 'Trinity itself — by admitting Echo. This is a BENEVOLENT destruction of Echo as a realm, but a catastrophic one for Trinity. The prophetic ambiguity: which is the victim?'}
The Hall is the entire realm — mostly. It extends in all directions. The Half-Selves wander it.
The Sea is Echo's only liquid feature. Divers use it to glimpse other realms as reflections. Dangerous — stay too long and your reflection becomes the diver.
The realm's political boundary. The only 'active' continent — where Echo is not merely reflective but ambitious.
Look: Every Half-Self is a reflection of a visitor that peeled off and stayed. They look like the original but move half a heartbeat late. Soft edges, slight blur.
Persona: Patient. Hungry for companionship. Not malevolent — just incomplete.
Look: Tall. Thin. Silver-robed. Gloved with cork (the only non-mirror material allowed here). Silver-rimmed eyes.
Persona: Meticulous. Quiet. The only tribe Echo itself respects.
Look: Athletic. Scarred from close calls. Wear silver diving-suits with cork-lined goggles. Always slightly wet.
Persona: Daring. Loyal. The Scalelist Universe's most interesting smugglers — they bring back glimpses of other realms as memories.
Look: Variable. They look like whoever wants to be in Trinity — adopting the features of whichever Trinity tribe they most envy that night.
Persona: Melancholy. Stubborn. Slowly teaching each other patience.
Look: Ear-cuffed in cork. Hair tied tightly. Eyes slightly unfocused from listening for Trinity's vote.
Persona: Hopeful. Patient. They have listened for 3000 years. The wall has not cracked.
